Susan Wiest, LNHA
Susan has been leading the team at Cardinal Village as the executive director for the past 10 years. She earned her master’s degree in Health Care Administration from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, her hometown. A US Army Veteran, she worked at Martin Army Hospital at Fort Benning, Georgia, during the Vietnam War. Susan is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who has spent her entire career working in long-term care.
Campus Marketing Director
Karen Dixon has been with Cardinal Village for eight years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Business Administration. Prior to coming to Cardinal Village, she was a consultant at a CPA firm specializing in the Senior Housing Industry for 18 years. Karen takes great pride in helping families find the right fit for their loved ones.
Maria has been with Cardinal Village for 10 years. She works with families interested in moving themselves or loved ones into the community. She is very passionate about helping them transition into their new life and home. Her ability to make connections and establish relationships with residents and their families continues to be outstanding. She has great energy and enthusiasm about what she does and continues to extend new outreach efforts and establish valuable relationships in the community.
Director of Activities
Keirston Shoemaker-Jefferson is the director of Activities for the Cardinal Village campus. She oversees both the Assisted Living and Independent Living buildings and designs activities for all levels of physical and mental capability. Keirston is a certified assisted living administrator who has worked in long-term health care for over 15 years. She has worked at Cardinal Village for the past 10 years. Known for her outgoing personality and playful attitude, she brightens everyone’s day every day! Keirston loves her residents so much that she had her wedding here last year so all the residents could attend.
Chris has been with Cardinal Village for a total of 10 years. He has a background in construction and automotive repair. Chris has an associate’s degree in pre-nursing through Camden County College. He is also ASE certified in three areas in the automotive field, possess a CDL class-A driver’s license, certified in phlebotomy, EKG and telemetry. Chris always wants to learn more and wants to make each room look like the way a resident would want and as if he were to live at Cardinal Village.
Trish Bronsky, RN
Director of Nursing
Trish has been the director of nursing at Cardinal Village for the past 10 years. She has been a registered nurse since 1989. The first half of her nursing career was spent working in pediatrics. Her specialty was caring for children on ventilators. She began working in geriatrics in 2003 and has been working with the senior population ever since.

The reward for my staff and myself is knowing that we helped our residents have the quality of life they deserve. We leave work every day knowing we have made a difference in someone’s life. Food Service Director
My name is David Dickerson. I am the Food Service director at Cardinal Village. I have worked in the food industry for over 30 years. My passion is creating and managing a welcoming environment for my team and the people we serve. I specialize in setting quality standards and resident satisfaction. I love taking on the daily challenge of pleasing everyone we serve whether it be residents, staff or outside visitors. I have trained and worked managing teams for over 15 years where I have mastered a unique way of identifying, accepting and delivering the highest quality service with integrity, dignity, compassion and respect.
Director of Housekeeping
Tamika Brown has 21 years of experience at Cardinal Village. Her No. 1 goal is to help maintain a homelike atmosphere and continue to provide excellent service to our residents. Tamika takes pride in maintaining a great first impression for our residents and guest. She is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of our community. Her years of experience as Environmental Service director, housekeeper, Community Safety director and certified home health aide have helped her achieve the knowledge she has to serve this community better. She is grateful to be a part of such a loving community!
Director of Business Services
Noreen has been the Business Services director at Cardinal Village for 10 years. Prior to working at Cardinal Village, Noreen spent 28 years working in the legal field as a business manager. Noreen’s educational background is in business administration, accounting, paralegal studies, information technology, and medical billing and coding. Noreen is thankful for the opportunity to be a part of such a loving and caring team at Cardinal Village. Noreen is married and a devoted mother and grandmother.
